The street always has my heart
I’ve always been a bit of wanderer.
I enjoy it.
The streets give me the opportunity to think, to watch, to be nobody and yet everybody.
It’s taught me human behaviour and character.
Whenever I feel lost, I find myself once more in the streets.
It feels like home.
Jonas and Busking
I met Jonas by chance when he took a leap of faith and moved to Barcelona to pursue a woman who he was deeply in love with.
Once I met him, I too fell in love with his spirit.
We began playing on the streets together in 2022.
Our work is the result of a fusion between a multi-instrumentalist and an actor.
In the Barcelona region, we played dozens of intimate venues and weddings but we found the most joy performing together on the streets of Sitges.
Music is so much more than notes and words. It is a storytelling vessel. Personal to each person, yet so universal.
Building a story out of music, like Billy Joel or Sixto Rodriquez, for me, is the art of true music.
It was the most beautiful period of my life.
Not because I was making money off what I enjoyed, but for the chemistry. The creative flow that as artists I believe we are always chasing, was second nature with Jonas.
The musical understanding we share, I have never found with another human in my life.
Understanding how to speak to a crowd, control an audience, to spatial adjust yourself to any situation, to have courage, to be honest with your words, to put yourself below the music and prioritise others above your own ego.
I could write forever
The list is endless.
I reiterate it.
The street made me a better actor, a better artist and above all a better person.
